These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Forge Learning Academy application (the "App"), operated by Forge Learning Academy LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Forge Learning Academy," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that you are an adult and that you are the parent or guardian of any student you add to the account. Students use the App under the supervision and control of their parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials, including your email and PINs, secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Forge Learning Academy provides educational content and tools, including AI-assisted tutoring, lessons aligned to grade levels and state standards, financial literacy and character content, and optional pronunciation practice. The App offers a Faith-Forward mode and a Standard Academic mode, which you may choose during setup.
The App is a supplemental learning tool. It is not a substitute for a parent's, teacher's, doctor's, or other professional's judgment, and it does not guarantee any particular educational outcome or compliance with the legal homeschooling requirements of any state. You are responsible for meeting any educational or legal requirements that apply to your family.
Lessons and tutor responses are generated in part by artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes and may occasionally produce information that is incomplete or inaccurate. We design the App to keep content age-appropriate and on-topic, including safeguards that direct sensitive topics to a parent, but we cannot guarantee that AI-generated content will always be perfect. We encourage parents to stay involved and to review content and tutor conversations, which the App makes available for review.
You agree not to misuse the App. In particular, you agree not to:
The App offers paid subscription plans. Subscriptions are billed through your app store account, and prices and plan details are shown in the App before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and you can manage or cancel a subscription through your app store account settings. Payment, billing, and refunds are handled in accordance with the policies of the app store through which you subscribed.
The App, including its software, design, and the structure of its lessons and curriculum, is owned by Forge Learning Academy LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App for your family's own educational purposes. Information you provide about your family remains yours; you grant us permission to use it only to operate and improve the App as described in our Privacy Policy.
You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete a student or your entire account within the App, which removes the associated information from our active systems as described in our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forge Learning Academy LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or educational outcomes, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida.
